SOLUTION: A sewing machine includes: a needle plate 1 for placing the skin material; and first and second sewing needles 2 moved to be advance/retreat with respect to the needle plate 1. A presser foot device 11 is arranged in the sewing machine, so as to allow the respectively folded end edges of first and second skin pieces to butt on each other by pressing the skin material on the needle plate 1, and also to form the swelling part where the skin material is swelled to rim the respective end edges with respect to the skin material whose skin pieces are sewed to connect the end edges. The presser foot device includes: a first spacer 21a inserted into a part between the skin part and folded part of the first skin piece at a position in front of the sewing needle 2 in a skin material advance direction, so as to swell the edge of the first skin piece; and a second spacer 21b inserted into a part between the skin part and folded part of the second skin piece at a position in front of the sewing needle, so as to swell the edge of the second skin piece.

Zip fasteners 7, 8 are mounted to respective sides of the covers 4, 5, so that the stuffing can be taken out. In order to improve the external appearance of the cushion and prevent the corresponding cushion from the growth of overlaps and wrinkles, the stuffing is provided with a snap 9 and the cover is provided on the corresponding position inside the cover with a female snap 10 joined with the snap 9. Thus, the cover is firmly mounted to the stuffing and the cushion is properly held in a predetermined position.
