摘要： PURPOSE: To reduce in size a printer which can be assembled in other equipment by arranging a print board having a printing mechanism and a controller serially provided along a conveying passage for linearly conveying a print sheet. CONSTITUTION: A print sheet 1 is inserted from a sheet supply and discharge port 18, set, input by sheet grip roller pair 17 rotatably driven by a sheet scanning motor 26, and fed rightward along a sheet guide plate 30. When the end of the sheet 1 is detected by a sheet end sensor 33, the sheet 1 is further fed rightward by n steps of the predetermined number of steps and stopped. Thereafter, a platen roller 16 is fluctuated by a platen release motor 27, and brought into pressure contact with a thermal head 11 via the sheet 1 and an ink sheet 12. Then, the head 11 is energized while moving the sheet 1 leftward, and transferred to the sheet 1 by the sheet 12.

摘要： PURPOSE: To simply apply printing even to an object to be printed other than sheet paper by attaching an ink jet printing head to a printer main body arranged in a state immovable with respect to a surface to be printed so as to move two-dimensionally in opposed relation to the object to be printed. CONSTITUTION: The printing data formed by a personal computer is preliminarily inputted to a controller and a printer main body is arranged in opposed relation to a printing object so that the printing head 1 present at an initial position comes to the desired position on a surface to be printed and positionally adjusted under visual observation by the manual operation of a handle 11. The printing head 1 moves in a y-direction while repeating scanning movement in an x-direction to perform the two-dimensional movement facing to the surface to be printed and the ink jet corresponding to the printing data is controlled and printing is performed. Good printing can be applied not only to sheetlike paper but also to the side surface of a corrugated cardboard box.
