    • PURPOSE: To eliminate cutting and machining fluid flowing grooves on bonded parts by interposing a foil to be diffusion bonded between a first member and a second member, and forming cooling grooves on one or both surfaces of the foil. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of cooling slots or grooves 12 are arranged on side surfaces of a foil 10 for diffusion bonding. The foil 10 is made of a material with suitability for the base alloy to be diffusion bonded. The depth of the groove 12 is about 0.005 inch from the photoetching surface thereof. The thickness of the foil 10 may be about 0.015 inch. The foil 10 to be bonded is diffusion bonded with a pair of members 16, 18 that can be diffusion bonded. The members 16, 18 are heated or cooled by a heat transmitting fluid 26 flowing from a duct 24 to the groove 12. As the groove 12 is formed by photoetching, it is not necessary to cut and machine fluid flowing grooves on the bonded machine parts.

And a separately molded blade part Bl is welded to said blade root Br by electron beam welding. This electron beam welding device comprises an electron generating chamber 100, beam inducing path 200, welding work chamber 300, welding work moving table 400, vacuum exhaust means 500, control unit 600 and a high voltage power source 700. A turbine wheel is manufactured by fitting the blade root Br of a blade, integrally formed by said electron beam welding, to the blade implanting groove of the rotor disc.
