    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently exhibit the barrier function and moisture retaining function of the skin, regarding sphingoglycolipid obtained from a plant stock such as rice bran and rice embryo bud, by involving nano-liposome or making it into a nano-dispersed aqueous solution, and applying the nanosized formulation to the skin to increase endogenous ceramide.SOLUTION: The method for increasing endogenous ceramide is characterized in that the nano-liposome or nano-dispersed aqueous solution of sphingoglycolipid is applied to the skin to increase endogenous ceramide. Particularly, the sphingoglycolipid is made of rice bran, rice embryo bud and/or sphingoglycolipid derived therefrom, and preferably, the method is used for increasing endogenous ceramide in the skin being β-glucosyl ceramide.
