    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup material formed from a multilayer fibrous structure, having especially excellent softness and elasticity without destroying air permeability, wash durability, shape retention and recycle properties, to provide a method for producing the cup material and to provide cups for the breast.
      SOLUTION: This method for producing the cup material comprises forming a multilayer fibrous structure through sticking polyester woven or knitted fabric with a polyester adhesive to both the surfaces of a polyester elastic fibrous structure formed by bringing to a matrix a side-by-side type or eccentric core sheath conjugated short fiber A made of two kinds of polyesters, having 30-60 microcrimps/25 mm made by manifestation of potential ruffles and given with 7-15 instrument ruffles/25 mm and by dispersing and mixing an elastic conjugated fiber B made of thermoplastic elastomer and inelastic polyester having a melting point ≥40°C lower than that of both the two kinds of polyesters comprising the conjugated fiber A and exposing the thermoplastic elastomer at least on the fiber surface. Furthermore, the method comprises thermoforming the cup material to a shape made through curving the multilayer fibrous structure by a mold forming process.
