    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tray for culturing plants, capable of eliminating the complexness of a sowing work and suitable for an indoor culture of plants and gardening in general home. SOLUTION: This tray 17 for culturing plants therein comprises a dish-like main body 19 having a prescribed area and an adhesive layer 20 having a self-adhesive force and formed on the bottom surface of the main body 19 in a layer- like state. The tray is used by adhering the seeds 21 of the plants to the adhesive layer 20 of the tray 17 and subsequently charging water 22 into the tray 17 in the state to culture the plants. Since the main body 19 is formed in the dish-like shape, the inside of the main body can easily be observed, and the tray is suitable for culturing a plant appreciated in general home. Since the tray can be used in the state free from water flow holes in the bottom portion, it is not necessary to dispose an exclusive drainage facility, and the tray can optimally be used for indoor culture or gardening in general home.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a method for culturing plants, capable of easily maintaining the qualities of the plants, and enabling to simply transfer the plants to other places. CONSTITUTION:Plant-culturing articles 1 are loaded on many receivers of a shelves disposed in the chamber. The seeds of plants 4 are sowed in a required amount on the upper surface of a fibrous material member 3 constituting the plant-culturing article 1, and water and nutrients such as fertilizers are supplied for the seeds from places above the fibrous material member 3. Air is supplied from the open cells B of an open cell material member 2 and from the spaces C of the fibrous material member 3 for the growth of the plants 4. Thus, the roots of the plants 4 are strongly bound to the fibrous material member 3, and the carrying function of the fibrous material member 3 for the plants 4 is improved, thereby enabling to culture the plants in the state surely carried on the fibrous material member 3. The plants 3 include flowering plants such as flowering grasses, foliage plants or flowering trees, lawn grasses such as Korean lawn grasses or Western lawn grasses, and vegetables such as tomatoes, cucumbers or spinaches. A single kind or many kinds of plants can be cultured in a freely combined state.
