    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting device capable of regulating the outgoing light within a predetermined angle in the case of using a point light source having a narrow diffusion light angle characteristic, and capable of irradiating an irradiation range at a high degree of uniformity.
      SOLUTION: This light emitting device 10 includes: a point light source 12; and a solid transparent light guide body 14. A reflecting side surface 22 of the light guide body 14 is regulated by a rotating surface formed by a parabola P passing through a peripheral edge point A on one light receiving surface side and a peripheral edge point D on the other light outgoing surface side in a plane M including a central axis CL and focusing to a peripheral edge point B on the other light receiving surface side. A central part of a light receiving surface 20 of the light guide body 14 includes a recess 26 forming a concave lens 28 in the surface thereof to solve the described problem.
