摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording medium conveying device capable of conducting a jam process with excellent operability of which size is reduced to enhance degree of freedom for arranging a structuring member of a device body and an image forming device equipped with the recording medium conveying device. SOLUTION: The recording medium conveying device includes a body part capable of being mounted to and removed from the device body in a direction vertical to a recording medium conveying direction and having a conveying roller for conveying the recording medium, a knob member, disposed at a removing side of the body part, for allowing manual rotation of the conveying roller and a handle member for mounting the body part to and removing the body part from the device body. The handle member is movably supported in a manner capable of moving between a first position where the handle member is positioned when the recording medium conveying device is stored in the device body and a second position which protrudes from the body part to the removing side. The knob member is connected to a rotating shaft of the conveying roller in a manner capable of moving along a direction in which the body part is removed.
