    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an outer diameter and axial length of a boss of an oil cooler as small as possible in a structure for mounting the boss in a mounting hole of a resin tank via an O-ring. SOLUTION: An outer diameter of a flange 3 of a boss 10 is formed relatively small of sufficient degree to seat an edge of a mounting hole 2 of a resin tank 1. An annular groove 8 is provided on an outer periphery of the boss 10, and an O-ring 15 is engaged with the groove 8. It is formed that the O-ring 15 is brought into pressure contact with an inner periphery of the hole 2 of the tank 1. A stepped hole formed at its end side with a large-diameter hole 4 is axially penetrated at the boss 10. An inner threaded part 7 is provided on its inner periphery, and an outer threaded 6 part 6 is formed on its outer periphery, of a portion axially protruding from the base part, and inner threads 7 are formed on its inner periphery. An outer nut 11 is engaged with the part 6, and an inner nut 14 for mounting an oil pipe 16 is engaged with the part 7.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a flat tube for heat exchanger whose height of a partitioning part is manufactured correctly and the reliability of whose brazing is improved, in the flat tube formed of a strip type metallic sheet coated with a brazing material, which is bent into the widthwise direction of the same to form the flat tubular shape and is provided with a partitioning part formed at the center of the flat part of the same, and to provide the heat exchanger employing the same tube. SOLUTION: Both of rims of the strip type metallic sheet are turned respectively toward the side, not coated with a brazing material, to superpose them and form a first duplicated rim 2a as well as a second duplicated rim 2b, and the terminal rims of both of the duplicated parts are abutted against each other. At the same time, central parts 4 are raised up at the inner surface side of the tube by turning them at the central position of the strip type metallic sheet in the widthwise direction of the same so as to be orthogonal to the flat part 2, while the tops of the central raised-up parts 4 are seated on the inside surface side of the first duplicated rim 2a and the second duplicated rim 2b.
