    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a storage medium which achieves high density recording and accurate reading of control information, and to provide a recording method and a recording device using the storage medium. SOLUTION: The information storage medium is provided with: a light reflection film; a recording film formed on the light reflection film; and a transparent layer formed on the recording film. Modulated data on the recording film includes data from a minimum inversion length to a maximum inversion length based on NRZI. A signal amplitude obtained from a mark or a pit of a length corresponding to 3T and a space of a length corresponding to the 3T is included in a reproduction signal.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information storage medium having a shape and a dimension of a pre-groove and those of a land prepit, with which a track deviation detection signal and a land prepit detection signal are obtained for recording light and simultaneously influence of the pre-groove and the prepit on regenerated light is reduced. SOLUTION: The information storage medium is equipped with: a recording film which comprises a recording layer with a recording sensitivity to light of a wavelength shorter than 650±5 nm and a light reflection layer, and which has a light reflectance regenerated with light of 650±5 nm wavelength; the pre-groove which comprises a recessed part with a projecting and recessing shape arranged on a boundary between the recording layer and the light reflection layer and on which a recording mark is formed with the light of the short wavelength; and a land which comprises a protruding part with the projecting and recessing shape, which is interposed between the adjacent pre-grooves and in which intensity of reflected light in the irradiated region is made to be higher than that of the recording film in the region with no recording mark formed thereon on the pre-groove by irradiating the recording layer on the pre-groove with the light of the short wavelength.
