摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hollow-containing polyester film which has a low oligomer content, making itself suitable as an insulation material of a hermetic motor, exhibits brittling prevention properties and low dielectric properties in a long-time use in a high-temperature high-pressure refrigerant gas, and has a good handleability. SOLUTION: This hollow-containing polyester film is prepared from a composition comprising a polyester resin and a thermoplastic resin incompatible therewith and contains many hollows due to fine particles of the incompatible thermoplastic resin dispersed in the polyester resin. The polyester resin has an intrinsic viscosity of 0.72 dl/g or lower (1) and a cyclic trimer content (based on the film total wt.) of 0.50 wt.% or lower (2). The film has an apparent specific gravity of 0.95-1.30 (3), and its remaining elongation at break after a heat treatment (140 deg.C×1,000 h) is 20% or higher in the longitudinal and width directions of the film (4).
