摘要： PURPOSE:To improve efficiency of earth moving by a method wherein intermediate guide pits are provided between guide pits that are provided on the opposite ends of a ground to be cut out with a wire saw so that the pits extend downward in approximate perpendicularity, and the wire saw is kept straight vertically while being prevented from slackening horizontally. Then boxes incorporating pulleys 16 are inserted into the erected end guide piles 14 and intermediate guide piles 15, and a wire saw 18 is provided so that it surrounds and winds round the pulleys 16, the pulleys 17 provided above the ground, a winch and a wire-driving means 19 installed near the guide pits. Then the ground E is cut out with the wire saw 18 by making the wire saw travel in its longitudinal direction, and also by making the pulleys 16 descend along the guide piles 14 and 15.

Since grinding particles made of diamond are not used, the cost required in the cutting blades can be reduced.
