    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording ink which is almost free from the occurrence of beading even if printed onto a coated paper for printing having poor liquid absorptance capability, is free from the no problem in the rate of drying, and can be suitably used for forming an image which is clear and close to the level of the commerce or publication printed matters, and to provide an ink media set, an ink cartridge, an ink recorded matter, an inkjet recording apparatus, and an inkjet recording method. SOLUTION: The recording ink comprises: solid constituents, which contain a colorant and a resin, and stay solid in the ink having a temperature of 25°C; liquid constituents, which have a higher boiling point than that of water, and stay a liquid in the ink at 25°C; and water, wherein the total amount of the solid constituents in the recording ink is in the range of 2.0% by mass or more and less than 20% by mass, wherein the ratio of the total amount of the liquid constituents in the recording ink A to the total amount of the solid constituents in the recording ink B (A/B) is from 0.70 to 1.75, and wherein the viscosity of the recording ink at 25°C is 10 mPa s or less.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance cleaning efficiency of a wiper when such a head as ejection became unstable due to coloring agent fixed to the nozzle surface portion is cleaned with the wiper by imparting processing liquid to the vicinity of a nozzle thereby dissolving or dispersing the coloring agent, and to prevent the nozzle from drying up easily when a recorder is stopped for a long term and the head is stored while being covered with a moisturing cap or a suction cap by ejecting the processing liquid into the cap.
      SOLUTION: The ink jet recorder comprises a head having a nozzle which can dissolve or disperse the component in recording liquid and ejects processing liquid containing more preservative/mold preventive when water is a major component. When the processing liquid itself is sprayed previously to a paper, generation of mist due to electrostatic charge can be prevented even in case of an ink jet printer having a conveyor belt using an electrostatic attraction belt.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink-jet printer which is adapted to make a color difference inconspicuous while it records at a high speed in two directions.
      SOLUTION: An independent arrangement nozzle (K) and sequential arrangement nozzles (C, M and Y) are present at positions not in the same place when seen from a main scanning direction (that is, at positions where they do not overlap) (Fig. (A)). In contrast, the independent arrangement nozzle (K) and the sequential arrangement nozzles (C, M and Y) are arranged on the same main scanning line in a comparative example shown in Fig. (B). The number of nozzles arranged in a vertical scanning direction can be reduced by setting one color independently, and a vertical scanning direction length of a head can be shortened as a whole. The printer can be constructed more compact. Moreover, since the nozzles arranged independently and the nozzles arranged sequentially are not set to the same position in the vertical scanning direction, ink is prevented from overlapping, or the color difference is made inconspicuous as a whole owing to a variation of an overlapping sequence by a position of pixels.
