    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide central cleaning equipment in which a vacuum cleaner with a built-in motor fan is connected to an insertion opening provided on a floor, a wall or others, via a pipe, which can be more widely used due to the nozzle made compatible with general cleaners for home use, and improves safety in arc-resistant tracking performance and others. SOLUTION: In this equipment, a vacuum cleaner body 23 with a built-in motor fan 2 is connected to one of the insertion openings 24 provided on floors, walls, and so on, via a pipe, and a hose 6 has, on one end, a pipe connecting section 27 to connect the hose to the insertion opening 24 and, on the other end, a hand controller 28, with which an extension pipe 9 and a nozzle 10 is connected furthermore. Thus, the connecting section 27, the hose 6, the hand controller 28, the extension pipe 9, and the nozzle, etc., comprise a hose unit 29. To this hose unit 29, electric power is supplied from a commercial power source 25 through the insertion opening 24, in which a breaking means 31 to interrupt the currency supply is provided.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To change the positional relation between the suction port and exhaust port in accordance with the condition in a room when the cleaner is set and to discharge cleaned air uniformly into the room by providing the air cleaner main body having air suction and exhaust ports, using the two adjacent faces of the main body as floor setting faces and furnishing the air suction port and exhaust port on the remaining faces. SOLUTION: Two adjacent faces of the main body 12 of an air cleaner are used as the floor setting faces 13 and 14, a suction port 15 is provided on the remaining face, the one remaining face is used as a curved surface 16, and an exhaust port 17 is furnished on the curved surface 16. A ceiling face 18 is the remaining face except the faces provided with the suction port 15 and exhaust port 17. The ceiling face 18 intersects the two floor setting faces 13 and 14 and is surrounded by the two straight lines 19 and 20 intersecting each other and a line having a curved line 23 intersecting the straight lines 21 and 22. When such a main body 12 is set on a floor, a floor setting part is attached to any of the floor setting faces 13 and 14, and a wall face mounting part is attached, when the main body is set on a wall face as a wall-type cleaner.

SOLUTION: The titled extending pipe is constituted of an outer pipe 11, an inner pipe 12 which can freely slide in the outer pipe 11 and is provided with a recessed part 14 outerward. a holding part 13 with ane elliptical crossection at the apex part of the outer pipe 11 and a lockong shaft 15 for locking the recessed part 14 existing on the inner face in the short axial direction of the holding part 13 and when the extending pipe 10 is used, the locking shaft 15 locks the recessed part 14 and twisting of the extending pipe 10 is not generated and when the extending pipe 10 is extended and contracted, by energizing the longing axial direction part of the holding part 13, the short axial direction part of the holding part 13 is deformed outward and locking of the locking shaft 15 to the recessed part 14 is released.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent falling off of a pipe by excess loosening in a pipe assembly whose inner pipe fastening force is variable by moving a fastening pipe screwed on the outer periphery of an outer pipe, equipping a dent part on one of the outer periphery face of the outer pipe or the inner periphery face on the fastening pipe and a protruding part to move in the dent part on the other. SOLUTION: On assembling a flexible extension pipe, when an inner pipe 14 is inserted into an outer pipe 11 and a fastening pipe 15 is turned into the fastening direction, the fastening pipe 15 and a fastening ring 17 are advanced by screwing a male screw part 12 of the outer pipe 11 with a female screw part 16 of the fastening pipe 15 in the arrow mark 20 direction. As the fastening pipe 15 moves forward, an open part 21a of a dent part 21 of the fastening pipe 15 approaches a protruding part 22 of the outer pipe 11 and the protruding part 22 goes into the dent part 21 through the open part 21a. When the fastening pipe 15 is further rotated, the protruding part 22 overpasses the dent part 21 and then the protruding part 22 goes into the dent part 21 equipped in the vicinity to become rotatable within a range where the dent part 21 is equipped. Thus falling off of the inner pipe 14 from the outer pipe 11 can be prevented.
