    • PURPOSE:To enhance the power output by additionally cooling natural gas extracted from all stages of a multi-stage expansion turbine in a circulative direct expansion type low temperature device, and by subjecting liquefied natural gas to Rankine cycle using an intermediate heat medium so as to increase a circulative volume in order to increase the recovery of heat at a low temperature. CONSTITUTION:Liquefied natural gas from a tank 15 is boosted up by a pump 17, and is then gasified by a carburetor 22 after it is led through a heatexchanger 19. The natural gas is fed into a high pressure expansion turbine 25, and heated up by a heater 30. A part of the gas is then fed into an intermediate expansion turbine 27. Further, a part of the natural gas from a heater 34 is led into a low pressure expansion turbine 27 so as to drive generators 59, 60, 61, and is then fed from a pipe line 39 by way of a heater 38. Natural gas is also fed from pipe lines 24, 31, 35. Thus, the natural gas is cooled and liquefied so as to increase the circulation volume in order to enhance the heat at a low temperature, thereby it is possible to enhance the power generation output.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of icing in an inner heat transfer pipe and to simplify constitution by a method wherein first - fourth tube plates and a double pipe are installed in the drum of a heater, gas to be heated passes through the annular passage of the double pipe after the flow of it through a space between the inner peripheral surface of a drum and the outer peripheral surface of the double pipe, and counter-flow heat exchange with sea water flowing through the inner heat transfer pipe is effected. CONSTITUTION:Gas in a space between the inner peripheral surface of a drum and the outer peripheral surface of an inner heat transfer pipe 77 effects counter-flow heat exchange in a gas partition chamber 74 with liquid for a heat source, and the temperature of the gas in the gas partition chamber 74 is increased in a position in the vicinity of a third pipe plate 70 to a relatively high value, for example, -5 to -10 deg.C. The heated gas flows from the gas partition chamber 74 through an annular passage 79 between the inner heat transfer pipe 77 and an outer heat transfer pipe 78 of a double pipe, and performs counter-flow heat exchange with gas to be heated between second and third pipe plates 69 and 70. Thus, the difference in gas temperature between the second and third pipe plates 69 and 70 can be increased. This constitution enables suppression of icing of liquid for a heat source to the inner heat transfer pipe 77 and allows reduction of the size of constitution.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce operation cost, to simplify the constitution and miniaturize so as to utilize the cold heat of liquefied natural gas by allowing the liquefied natural gas from a first tank to absorb the liquefied natural gas gasified from a compressor to mix with the liquefied natural gas from a second tank so as to obtain a predetermined calorific value. CONSTITUTION:In a reliquefying device 35, after liquefied natural gas 32 from a first tank 31 is jetted, and boil off gas gasified from the upper part of the first tank 31 is compressed by a compressor 53, it is introduced in the reliquefying device 35 to allow the liquefied natural gas 32 from a nozzle 37 to absorb it to mix liquefied petroleum gas 42 from a second tank 41 with the liquefied natural gas 32 from the reliquefying device 35 so as to obtain a liquid having a predetermined calorific value and gasified by a gasifier 49 to utilize as a city gas and the like. A blockade at the gasifier 49 can be prevented without any evaporator for the liquefied natural gas 32. The calorific value of the gas obtained by mixing the liquefied natural gas 32 with the liquefied petroleum gas 42 by controlling the flow rate of the liquefied petroleum gas 42 from the second tank 41 can be regulated.

    • PURPOSE: The titled device for converting a coal gas to a gas having a composition similar to that of a natural gas simply at low cost, wherein a steam turbine is driven with an excess energy of steam from boilers, and compressors are driven by the turbine, so that a fluid to be treated is heated and pressurized.
      CONSTITUTION: A device for modifying a gas consists of the reactors 7aW7d for reacting continuously a fluid to be treated with processing steam at high temperature, and the boilers 9aW9d for generating the precessing steam with a high- temperature gas from the reactors, and is provided with the steam turbine 12 which is driven with the processing steam at high temperature at high pressure from the boilers 9aW9d and with the exhaust path 15 to feed processing steam at low temperature at low pressure from the turbine 12 to the reactors 7aW7d. The compressors 3 and 20 interlocking in the turbine 12 are set at least at one of the gas feed path to the reactors 7aW7d and the gas feed path 21 from the reactors 7aW7d.
