The player 10000 reproduces readout information from the optical disk 10030 by using the deciphering key.

SOLUTION: A disk holder 3 is provided with gear-lock nibs 4a and 4b and the nibs 4a and 4b are gear-locked to a cartridge case. By canceling the gear- lock, the disk holder 3 can be removed from the cartridge case. The disk holder 3 is provided with disk-retaining end parts 7a and 7b and a disk-retaining part 8 and retains a disk 6 while being removed from the cartridge case. A part for retaining the disk 6 is formed in a V shape and a recessed shape for the disk-retaining end parts 7a and 7b and the disk-retaining part 8, respectively, when viewing a section that is cut off by a dashed line. The disk-retaining end parts 7a and 7b energize the disk 6 toward the side of the disk-retaining part 8 with elastic force.

A detention release preventive members 16a is arranged in the lower part of the detaining pawls 6a to prevent the exposure of the detaining pawls 6a to the outside and to make the disengagement of the detaining pawls 6a from the detaining holes 7a difficult. The detaining pawls 6a are exposed outside and the removal of the detaining pawls 6a is made possible by destroying and removing this detention release preventive members 16a. When the disk is removed and is used alone, the removal history may be recognized by detecting the destruction of the detention release preventive members 16a.

The hole for fitting has a structure to fix by the friction of the stepped part and the surface of the plate 26 by fastening the screw. Thus, the upper part of an upper cylinder where a drum assembly 1 is rotated is fixed to the device to improve rigidity to obtain a satisfactory recording and reproducing device of small track deviation whose deflection of rotation is extremely small even when force made by unbalanced rotation is generated.

Thereby, at the time of moving the disk 4 from the disk cartridge, the information of disk 45 held by the disk holder 5 can also be moved simultaneously to easily check the contents of disk 4 via the disk holder 5.
