摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a printing plate which is free from ground staining and has considerably improved printing resistance by exposing an image to a photosensitive lithographic printing plate and developing the same then coating an aq. soln. contg. malic acid (salt thereof) thereon prior to burning treatment then subjecting the plate to the burning treatment. CONSTITUTION:A supersatd. soln. of >=0.5wt% malic acid and >=1 kind among Na, K and NH4 salts thereof, more preferably an aq. soln. in a 2-25wt% range is coated on a photosensitive lithographic printing plate, more particularly PS plate consisting of a metal such as Al as a base prior to the so-called burning treatment to reinforce the image part by heating the plate at a high temp. after exposing and developing. A suitable amt. of an anionic surface active agent, phosphate such as Na2HOP4, Na borate, etc. are adequately added to the aq. soln. to assure the uniform coating on the surface of the printing plate and to suppress generation of staining in the non-image part owing to the burning treatment. The plate is subjected to a heating treatment in a burning processor. The lithographic printing plate having high sensitization characteristics and printing resistance in the image part without generation of staining in the non- image part is thus obtd.
