After the pseudo reply, a voice reply circuit 1M sends the voice guidance from the called telephone set 1 to the caller terminal equipment 5. Thus, the caller terminal equipment 5 sends the number of the corresponding called party by a PB signal. The called party telephone set 1 selects the sound source of the called signal in response to the PB signal received from the caller terminal equipment 5 from three kinds of call signal sources 1T,1U,1V and the call signal rings the bell 1B. Some or all of the three kinds of call signals are assigned in response to the PB signal to call a specific called party.
