    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer sheet for scratching capable of easily rubbing off a concealing part by a pawl, a coin or the like by incorporating sufficient concealability so as not to easily identify information recorded on a card or the like as it is. SOLUTION: The thermal transfer sheet 1 comprises a non-transferable mat layer 3 provided at least on an overall surface or in a pattern state and a heat fusible ink layer 4 containing an aluminum pigment, a carbon black, a wax, an ethylene-vinyl acetate copolymer resin as main constituents and sequentially provided on one side surface of a film base material 2. Thus, a concealing layer of the layer 4 is transferred on information recorded on a card or the like so that the front surface of the transferred concealing layer is mat-like rugged which cannot read the recorded information due to protrusions. The above components are contained in the layer 4 to allow the concealing layer to be easily rubbed off by a suitable cohesive force and a pawl, a coin or the like.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording sheet for easily forming a receptive layer in a short time having excellent fastness such as excellent ink absorbency, drying characteristics, water resistance and the like without stimulating or getting a rash at a skin when brought into contact without retaining a monomer after an ionizing radiation is emitted. SOLUTION: A recording sheet 1 is formed by coating at least one surface of a base material sheet 2 with an ionizing radiation curable hydrophilic multifunctional monomer and/or a composition containing an oligomer as a receptive layer 3, emitting it with an ionizing radiation to cure the layer 3. In this case, since a monofunctional monomer and/or the oligomer is not used for the layer 3, no monomer exists after the radiation is emitted, and when brought into contact, a skin is not stimulated or does not get a rash. The multifunctional monomer and/or the oligomer can suitably incorporate functions of absorbency, drying characteristics of aqueous ink, and water resistance of an obtained printed matter with good balance by suitably selecting number of functional groups and adding amounts.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize the formation of a high density and high contrast full color image or the like by a method wherein a water base ink receiving layer is equipped and, at the same time, a white porous layer, which turns to be transparent by absorbing water, is provided on one side of a transparent base material. SOLUTION: By applying a solution prepared by adding 30 pts.wt. of a xylene to 100 pts.wt. of a standard solution A on the surface of a base material 3 made of a transparent polyethylene telephthalate film having the thickness of 100 μm, by a bar-coating method so as to form a solid content under dry state of 10 g/m in order to form a white porous layer 1. In this case, the standard solution A is a polyvinyl butyral solution dispersed with fine polyacrylic acid particles, which is obtained by dissolving 3 g of polyvinyl butyral having the degree of polymerization of about 300 in 120 g of methyl ethyl ketone, which is a good solvent, so as to obtain a hydrophobic matrix polymer and by performing a radical polymerization reaction at 60 deg.C for 8 hours in nitrogen gas flow after 20 g of acrylic acid and 0.5 g of α,α-azobisisobutyronitrile as a polymerization initiator are added to this hydrophobic matrix polymer solution.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain printing compatibility under not only the atmosphere of normal temperature and normal humidity but also the atmosphere of high temperature and high humidity or low temperature and low humidity by a method wherein an ink receptive layer is constituted of the principal constituent of the mixture of aqueous water-insoluble resin, in a recording sheet provided with the ink receptive layer on at least one side thereof. SOLUTION: A substrate sheet 2, employed in a recording sheet 1, can be constituted of a normal substrate sheet as it is and there is no limit especially. An ink receptive layer 3, formed on one side of the substrate sheet 2, is constituted principally of the mixture of aqueous water-insoluble resin and a water-soluble resin having a resistance to moisture and heat as well as low-temperature printing property while the mixture is preferable to be the combination of aqueous polyester resin, polyvinyl alcohol and polyvinyl pyrrolidone. The water-soluble resin, having a resistance to moisture and heat as well as low-temperature printing property, is a resin soluble in water, alcohol or the mixed solvent of these substances while the keeping quality in respective atmospheres (temperature range: -20-50 deg.C, humidity range: 10-90%RH) is excellent and the deterioration of water absorbing property as well as printing property is little.
