Next, when the multiple copying of the same picture contents is executed to plural transfer sheets, the copying is started, then the transferred sheet receives the switching-back transporting action by the sheet resupplying means of the flapper 29, etc., in the same way as the case that the double copying is executed for only one sheet, thereafter, is collected so that the transfer picture is directed in the upper direction 53 through a channel 33 and an immediate tray introducing channel 42 onto an immediate try 53, thereafter introduced to the copying part 2.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent an image shift by making a transverse direction position of a transfer sheet which is led into an image forming part again coincide with the transverse direction position of the transfer sheet in the image forming process of the previous time, and correcting it by a position correcting means. CONSTITUTION:After a toner image is transferred, the transfer sheet S passes through between the light emitting part 65a and the light receiving part 65b of a photosensor 65 and is carried to a fixing part. In that case, the transverse direction position of an orthogonal direction to the carrying direction is detected and an electric signal corresponding thereto is stored in the storage part of a microprocessor unit MPU from the photosensor 65. At the time point when said position coincides with the transverse direction position of the transfer sheet S in case of copying of the first time stored in the MPU, a spring clutch 49 is cut off, a movement to the transverse direction of an upper roller 40a and a lower roller 40b is stopped and thereafter, by the rotational carrying action of the upper roller 40a and the lower roller 40b, which is continued for a prescribed time, the transfer sheet is carried from a sheet carrying part to a pair of resist rollers in a state that its transverse direction position is made to coincide correctly and corrected. In this way, an image shift phenomenon can be prevented effectively and the image having a good quality is formed.

    • PURPOSE:To easily remove the foreign matter of paper powder, metallic pieces, etc., at the time of maintenance by constituting two magnetic force generating means facing each other across a mesh filter so as to separate from each other on the filter as a boundary. CONSTITUTION:The developer recovered from an image carrier by a cleaning device and the foreign matter are replenished to the side of a sleeve in a separating device 17 by a carrying screw 24. Then, the recovered developer and the foreign matter are stuck to the surface of a, sleeve 20 to be carried upward following its rotation, regulated to a prescribed layer thickness by a doctor blade 26 and fed to a separating part where the sleeves 20 and 19 facing each other across a mesh 18. The developer and foreign matter fed to the separating part facing the sleeve 19 across the mesh 18 by the sleeve 20 are efficiently attracted by a convergence line of magnetic force extending to a magnetic pole N19 on the side of the sleeve 19 from a magnetic pole S20 on the side of the sleeve 20 and only the developer is attracted to the sleeve 19 via the mesh 18.
