    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thinned card connector. SOLUTION: The card connector 10 comprises a resin flat portion 18, integrally formed with a connector body 14 and a metal discharge plate 20 for engaging the flat portion 18 and ejecting a card, while turning around an engagement point. A C-part of the ejecting plate 20 is moved from a slit 34 to the lower side of the C-part of the flat portion 18 and a D-part of the ejecting plate 20 is located on the upper side of a B-part of the flat portion 18, where the ejecting plate 20 engages the flat portion 18. The level difference between a A-part and the B-part of the flat portion 18 is almost the same as thickness W1 of the discharge plate 20, while the level difference between the C-part and the D-part of the ejecting plate 20 corresponds to the level difference of the flat portion 18, and the discharge plate 20 is formed with the C-part and the D-part to adhere to the A-part and the B-part, respectively, in a turnable range. Therefore, the A-part and the B-part are almost flush with the D-part and the C-part, respectively. The dimension of the ejection plate 20 in the direction of the height at a turning center (Z1-Z2 direction) is the total dimension of a thickness W1 of the ejecting plate 20 and a thickness W2 of the flat portion 18.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pointing device of improved operationality in regard to changeover of normal mode and suspension mode. SOLUTION: The USB pointing device 1 is provided with a detection means 12 which detects change of state of the pointing device 1 in a longer cycle at suspension mode than at normal mode, a receiving means 13 which receives a suspension signal commanding transition to a suspension mode, a cancellation means 14 which cancels detection of the detection means 12 for a predetermined waiting time after receiving the suspension signal, a storage means 16 which records a predetermined detection time and an accumulation of change of state detected when change of state is detected after the waiting time, a judgement means 17 which judges if the accumulation is more than a threshold value and, finally, and a transmitting means 15 which transmits a resume signal commanding transition to a normal mode when the accumulation is judged as exceeding the threshold value.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-speed keyboard which is capable of wraparound examination coping with a plurality of key input data to be input as normal key operation. SOLUTION: The keyboard comprises a detecting means to detect a newly depressed key, a finalizing memory 102 to store the newly depressed key as a finalizing key for a normal key input, and a key buffer 101 to store an address of the newly depressed key temporarily. The key buffer 101 stores an address of the newly depressed key only when it has not been stored yet. In the case an address of the newly depressed key has already been stored, a wraparound judging means determines that there is a wraparound if the total of the stored address and the finalized key is 4 or more and the number of stored address is 2 or more. If there is no wraparound, a finalizing means stores a newly depressed key in the finalizing memory 102.
