    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition without substantially containing phosphorus, having a low sulfur content and low sulfuric acid ash content, capable of aiming to reduce a load on a discharged gas-cleaning post-treatment device, and also having an excellent abrasion resistance, oxidation stability and cleaning property.
      SOLUTION: This lubricating oil composition is obtained by blending each specific amount of (A) a thiadiazole compound and (B) an organomolybdenum compound, and (c) in a specific ratio of basic calcium salicylate having 30-400 mg KOH/g basicity value to basic calcium fenate with at least 1 kind of base oil of mineral oil-based or synthetic-based lubricating oil, and further blending (D) a high molecular hindered phenol compound as a non-metal-based antioxidant by a specific amount, and contains S-content and sulfuric acid ash amount by at or less than a definite amount and does not substantially contain phosphorus.
