    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cope with a damper of an automobile of different length. SOLUTION: A damper fixing device 100 when mounted to the different damper 50, can be changed in the whole length by rotating an upper outer cylinder 2 and a lower outer cylinder 3 to position their claws in an axial groove of an inner cylinder 1, and sliding the upper outer cylinder 2 and the lower outer cylinder 3 in an axial direction. After adjusted into the desired length, the whole length is fixed by rotating the upper outer cylinder 2 and the lower outer cylinder 3 again to fit their claws into a circumferential groove of the inner cylinder 1. The damper fixing device 100 is mounted to the damper by putting a rod 51 into a rod groove to rotate the upper outer cylinder 2 and the lower outer cylinder 3.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the device for vertically adjusting a leg post which facilitates the positioning and engaging work of the engaging piece of a lock member and an engaging hole, and easily fixes an outer cylinder and an inner cylinder by a fixing bolt while blocking the downward movement of the inner cylinder.
      SOLUTION: The plurality of engaging holes 18 are vertically formed on the outer peripheral surface of the inner cylinder 7, a plurality of female threaded cylinders 22 are vertically provided inside the inner cylinder 6, and the lock member 26 having the engaging piece 27b engaged with the engaging hole is pivoted, in a vertically movable manner, to a slider 23 externally fitted to the inner cylinder 7 so as to be vertically slid. When the lock member 26 is turned downward, the engaging piece 27b is engaged with the engaging hole 18 and also abuts on the upper end of the outer cylinder 6, and thus the downward movement of the inner cylinder 7 is blocked. By thread-engaging a fixing bolt 30 inserted through respective bolt insertion holes of the outer cylinder 6, the lock member 26, and the center part of the engaging hole 18 to the female threaded cylinder 22 and tightening it, the outer cylinder 6, the inner cylinder 7, and the lock member 26 are fixed.
