SOLUTION: This method for continuously forming the engaging pieces of brassiere bands comprises loading a belt-like sheet 6 laterally having many engaging fittings such as hooks or eyelets for engaging the brassiere bands with each other on a moving table 7, disposing a fusing fitting 11 and an ultrasonic wave oscillator 12 for sealing the lateral sides of the belt-like sheet at prescribed positions, respectively, forward moving the belt-like sheet with a moving tine 15 for each pitch, sealing the central portion between an engaging piece and the adjacent engaging piece with the fusing fitting 11 and the ultrasonic oscillator 12, forward moving the moving table 7 for each pitch in the state loading the belt-like sheet 6 thereon, thus forward moving the central portion of the sealed portion to the position of a cutting blade 13, cutting the sheet at the central portion, and subsequently returning the moving table to the original position, and further successively repeating the above steps.
