    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a mounting height of a coaxial connector with switch to a printed circuit board as further as possible, to simplify the shape of each component, to stabilize a performance and further to provide the coaxial connector with switch at a low price.SOLUTION: A coaxial connector 10 with switch comprises a switch mechanism section inside of a housing 13, is mounted on a printed circuit board 12 and turns on/off the switch mechanism section by means of a probe 11. In the coaxial connector 10 with switch, the housing 13 includes a guide tube section 17 and a substrate section 18. The guide tube section 17 is loosely fitted from a lower surface to a through hole 33 for guide tube section on the printed circuit board 12 and connects/disconnects terminals 15 and 16 by inserting/ejecting a contact pin 35 of the probe 11 from an upper surface side. The substrate section 18 is provided integrally with the guide tube section 17 and fixed while being abutted to the lower surface of the printed circuit board 12. Connecting terminal sections 26 and 30 of the terminals 15 and 16 of the switch mechanism section are connected from the lower surface side to the printed circuit board 12.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unstable electrical connection because of solder wicking from a board connection part 14d of a conductive shell 14, with a simple configuration.SOLUTION: A recess 14e which recesses toward fixed contact 13 and movable contact 12 sides is provided at the board connection part 14d of the conductive shell 14 attached to an insulating housing 11. A surplus of a solder and a flux, that are used at the board connection part 14d of the conductive shell 14 and creep up along wall surfaces of the board connection part 14d and conductive shell 14, are stored inside the recess 14e. The action force for creeping up is reduced by a slope of inverted and tapered shape constituting the wall surface of the recess 14e. Further, by extending the distance of creeping up of the solder material and the flux with the use of a bent wall surface of the recess 14e, a so-called solder wicking is effectively prevented.
