摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector capable of preventing the generation of cross talk and smoothly connectable with a cable equipped with a plurality of signal wires and a plurality of ground wires.
SOLUTION: A number of signal contacts 3 are press-fitted in an arrow mark direction, and a number of ground contacts 4 are press-fitted in an arrow mark direction on both front and rear faces of a flat part 2a of an insulator 2 of a plug connector 1, with each ground contact 4 inserted into each signal contact 3. A number of signal wires 12 are arrayed in two rows at a connecting part of a balanced transmission cable 11, with each signal wire coated with each dielectric 13. Each ground wire 14 is arranged at around the top side of each signal pair 12, 12 of an up-and-down direction. Each ground wire is connected to each shield 15, and a locator 5 locates each signal pair and each ground contact. Each partitioning plate 6a of a pair of ground clips 6, 6 is inserted between each signal pair.

The above ground contact 22 shields the one pair, which adjoins mutually among the above signal contacts 21, and forms a projection part in the above ground plate 1 corresponding to the position of the signal contact 21 arranged by the position distant from the above ground contact 22 among the above pair of signal contacts.

Plural longitudinal shield plates 27 are installed between the respective pin terminals in the plug connector. Plural lateral shield plates 14 are installed in an intersecting form of crossing state with respect to the longitudinal shield plates 27 at the receptacle connector. A slit to make the longitudinal shield plates enter is installed at the housing and the lateral shield plates 14 of the receptacle connector. A first loading part 26a for a unit terminal and a second loading part 26b for the longitudinal shield plates are installed at the housing 22 of the plug connector.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce crosstalk by positioning an elastic arm of a second terminal within the cross section of an elastic arm of a first terminal in the length direction of a dielectric housing when a circuit board is inserted into a card slot and the elastic spring arms of the first and second terminals are deformed. SOLUTION: An elastic spring arm 40c of a signal terminal is positioned within the cross section in the length direction of an elastic spring arm 38c of an earthed terminal, parallel to the elastic spring arm 38c and slightly narrow. A finger part 40e is positioned within the cross section in the length direction of an enlarged head 38e, and an enlarged supporting part 40g is positioned within the cross section in the length direction of a shield 38g. The shape in the whole construction of a signal terminal 40 is positioned within the cross section in the length direction of the earthed terminal 38, the earthed terminal 38 is positioned in the shadow of the signal terminal 40 or laid down on the signal terminal 40. Therefore, good signal/capacitive coupling is formed between both terminals, bonding between signals is decreased, and crosstalk of a connector is substantially decreased.
