To the vertical part 42, a cover member 6a covering a gas valve component at the lower part is attached.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems of a conventional thermal power regulator for regulating thermal power with an operation lever which laterally oscillates: a connection mechanism is required for converting oscillating motion of the operation lever into rotating motion to a plug when the plug is used as a thermal power regulating valve; and when a mechanism, as the connection mechanism, has a long hole in the operation lever and inserts the pin set offset from the center of rotation of the plug to a plug side, operation power cannot be transmitted from the operation lever to the plug efficiently.SOLUTION: The connection mechanism includes: a driving gear which is connected to the operation lever and having teeth arranged circumferentially around the center of oscillation of the operation lever; and a driven gear which is meshed with the driving gear and concentrically connected to the plug. The driven gear is rotated by the driving gear when the operation lever is oscillated, thereby rotating the plug.
