摘要： PURPOSE: To receive controlled air supply suitably by a structure wherein the upper surface of a large fire grate plate is divided into an exposed part being lapped over a preceding large fire grate plate and an unexposed part not being lapped over, recessing the exposed part and arranging air distribution tubes and secondary air distribution grooves alternately. CONSTITUTION: Upper surface of a large fire grate plate 20 is divided into an exposed part 70 and an unexposed part 71 and a material moves a cooler in the longitudinal direction as shown by an arrow. The exposed part 70 is recessed and the recess is defined by the top edge 24 of a front press face 23, longitudinal edges 26, 27 and an unexposed surface 28. A moving material falls onto the exposed surface and the unexposed surface 28 is temporarily overlaid with a rear fire grate. The exposed part 70 is arranged with a plurality of air tubes 30 and cooling air is discharged from the air tubes 30 to secondary air grooves 56 through primary air outlets 55. Side wall 58 of the air tube 30 is inclined inward in order to shield the primary air outlet 55 so that the side wall is not exposed directly to the material. The air tube 30 has top surface 32 recessed from a plane 40 and the material is held in stationary state.
