The cloth material pressing plate 39 is fastened at its one end side by screw to the cloth material holding bar 26, while at the other end side divided parts 41 is formed having notches 40 at prescribed intervals in the width direction of the cloth material. Each pressing surface of the divided parts 41 is changed independedly in its height to thereby surely hold the cloth material in response to change in the upper surface height of the layered cloth material.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a sheet folding device capable of heightening the service efficiency of the device while reducing the load of an operator by forming such structure that a sheet tray is lowered automatically to move toward a sheet take-out position when a sheet stacked quantity detecting means detects the full state of sheets. CONSTITUTION:As printing continues, a lift 17 and a sheet tray 19 are lowered gradually, and a shielding plate 23 fitted to the lift 17 operates a reed switch 8a so as to detect the full state of sheets. In this case, the lift 17 and sheet tray 19 are lowered until a reed switch 8b is put in action by the shielding plate 23 fitted to the lift 17. When the lift 17 and sheet tray 19 reach the low limit position, the reed switch 8b is put in action by the shielding plate 23 so as to stop a motor 11a and to put the sheet tray 19 in the state of being placed on a drawer 20. A motor 11b is then rotated, and the drawer 20 and sheet tray 19 start moving toward a sheet take-out position by a drawer belt 22.
