CONSTITUTION:A metal granulator 10 is formed by arranging at least two rotating shafts 21, 31 horizontally parallel to each other in a casing 11. Four sectorial impact plates 23, 33 are fitted to the rotating shafts 21, 31 at the outer periphery respectively. The impact plates 23, 33 overlap every rotation leaving a fixed clearance, and under these conditions, metallic pieces are put between the side surfaces of the respective impact plates and undergo granulating action. Compared with conventional granulators, the fed metallic pieces are not pulverized into excessively fine grains to form even-grained metallic grains.
