    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an auxiliary crushing device for use in a roll-crusher, capable of exactly crushing discarded materials with long fibers, such as lumber.
      SOLUTION: The auxiliary crushing-device 8 is disposed under a pair of rotors of a roll-crusher 1 having at the upper portion thereof a hopper for introducing discarded materials. Even if the pair of rotors carrying crushing-blades on their outer periphery surfaces fail to perform an adequate crushing, it is still possible to exactly crush discarded soft materials such as lumber having fibers by performing an auxiliary crushing between auxiliary crushing blades 10 (15) of the auxiliary crushing device 8. Moreover, the auxiliary crushing device 8 is not only freely detachable, but can also be installed into an existing roll crusher.
