    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element having a long life, and to provide a light emitting device and an electronic device having a long life.SOLUTION: The light emitting element emits light from a light emitting layer by being configured such that a first layer 114, and a second layer 113 containing a light emitting substance are provided between a first electrode 101 and a second electrode 102; the first layer has a first organic compound 141 and a second organic compound 142; the first layer is provided between the second layer and the second electrode; the first layer contains a larger amount of the first organic compound than the second organic compound; the first organic compound is an electron-transporting organic compound, and the second organic compound is an electron-trapping organic compound; the second organic compound has a larger energy gap than that of the light emitting substance; and a voltage is applied so that the first electrode has a higher potential than the second electrode.
