    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable provided with a braided shield which can combine excellent mechanical and electric characteristics.SOLUTION: A cable 10 provided with a braided shield includes a braided shield 12 formed by braiding a shield wire 11, and the shield wire 11 consists of a stranded wire formed by stranding 7-19 element wires 13 together. Preferably, the element wire 13 consists preferably of a copper alloy wire of a tensile strength of 300 MPa or higher and an elongation of 5% or longer. The element wire 13 more preferably has an outer diameter of 0.025-0.04 mm and most preferably includes a central inclusion 21, a plurality of cable units 22 stranded around the central inclusion 21, a braided shield 12 formed around the cable units 22 and a sheath layer 23 formed around the braided shield 12.

      SOLUTION: The interface cable system 100 for providing electrical interconnection between an intrauterine pressure catheter system and a monitoring system is provided.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a NIRS sensor device to monitor the brain, supporting integration of data from a surgical operation system and a monitoring system. SOLUTION: The sensor device is connected to a remote near-infrared spectrometer light source through a hybrid cable. The remote location of the light source reduces possible intervention of the superficial non-brain tissue and the surrounding light. Moreover, the remote location of the light source prevents changes in output of the local light source occurring with the conventional technique during the hypothermic treatment. Therefore, opposing to the locally attached LED typically used in the conventional technique, the present invention realizes stronger energy by using a laser diode. The sensor device is equipped with reusable parts including one or more light detecting devices and disposable parts which receive a light from the reusable parts and bend the light to send it into the brain.
