    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic booster brake device capable of suppressing a useless consumption of power by reducing a load on a pump to the utmost. SOLUTION: This device comprises a pump body 10, a movable cylinder 12 fitted slidably to the pump body 10 and defining a pressure regulating chamber 17 and a discharge chamber 18 opposed to each other, a plunger 23 fitted slidably to the movable cylinder 12 and defining a pump chamber 26, a camshaft 30 reciprocating the plunger 23, and a pressure regulating spring 20 installed in the pressure regulating chamber 17 and energizing the movable cylinder 12 to the discharge chamber 18 side. Also, an intake port 27 opened and closed according to the reciprocating motion of the plunger 23 is provided in the movable cylinder 12. An unloader pump 5 is formed so that, when the movable cylinder 12 moves to the pressure regulating chamber 17 side in accompany with a pressure rise in the discharge chamber 18, the intake port 27 is brought into the open state. A proportional booster valve V extracting a booster hydraulic pressure in proportion to an output hydraulic pressure from a master cylinder M1 from the discharge chamber 18 to the booster port is connected to the discharge chamber 18, and a wheel brake B is operated by the booster hydraulic pressure extracted to the booster port 52.

SOLUTION: A proportional booster valve Vf to introduce the boosted hydraulic pressure proportional to the output hydraulic pressure of a master cylinder from a hydraulic pressure source for operating a wheel brake is provided, and this proportional booster valve Vf comprises a control piston 18 to demarcate the inside of a first cylinder hole 17 of a casing 13 into a controlled hydraulic chamber 20 to be communicated with the master cylinder and an atmospheric pressure chamber 19, a valve piston 22 which is fitted to a second cylinder hole 21 of the casing 13 and continuously connected to the control piston 18, a boosted hydraulic chamber 30 adjacent to the second cylinder hole 21, a reaction piston 31 connected to the valve piston 22 and whose end face is opposite to the boosted hydraulic chamber 30, an inlet valve 33 which is interposed in a first communication oil passage 39 to connect the boosted hydraulic chamber 30 to the hydraulic pressure source, and opened/closed in an interlocking manner with the advancing/retraction of the reaction piston 31, and an outlet valve 40 which is interposed in a second communication oil passage 41 to connect the boosted hydraulic chamber 30 to the atmospheric pressure chamber 19, and opened/closed in an interlocking manner with advancing/retraction of the value position.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let the caliper body of a current structure be used as is by reducing pipelines by half in number, keeping the structure simple with an exception of only interposing an interlocking valve to an existing brake device composed of two independent systems, and combining both the interlocking systems together, or combining each single system with the interlocking system together. SOLUTION: An interlocking valve 26 is formed of a stepped cylinder bores 31 equipped with large diameter cylinder bores 31a and 31a, and with a small cylinder bore 31b, and stepped pistons 32 and 32 having both a large diameter axial part 32a and a small diameter axial part 32b are housed in face-to-face so as to be slid. A first oil feeding chamber 33 is interposed between the small diameter axial parts 32b and 32b of the small diameter cylinder bore 31b, and a first oil feeding pipe 24 is connected with the first oil feeding chamber 33. A second oil feeding chamber 36 and a third oil feeding chamber 37 are partitioned in a space between a stepping part 35 and the large diameter axial part 32a so as to let a second oil feeding pipe 25 be connected with both the chambers 36 and 37. A first hydraulic pressure chamber 39 and a second hydraulic pressure chamber are partitioned in a space between the large diameter axial part 32a and a detent plug 38 so as to let the first oil feeding pipe 11 be connected with the first hydraulic pressure chamber 39, and a second oil feeding pipe 17 is connected with a second hydraulic pressure chamber 40.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a push rod or pedal within a cabin from being returned to a driver's side as much as possible by providing a circumferential cut groove ruptured by an external force from the body front direction on at least the body lower part on the outside of the oil filling chamber of a cylinder body. SOLUTION: A cylinder body 11 has a V-shaped sectional cut groove 34 formed on the body lower position of a first oil filling chamber 23. This cut groove 34 ensures a sufficient strength necessary for the cylinder body 11 on the body lower side of the first oil filling chamber 23 while the inside thickness of the cut groove 34 is reduced to suppress the strength low by circularly cutting the circumferential surface of the cylinder body 11 in the same depth from the circumferential surface extending over the length of about 1/3 of the whole circumference thereof. Accordingly, when an excessive external force acts on the body front part as the collision of the body front part, the external force is transmitted to the cylinder body 11 of a hydraulic master cylinder 10 through an engine.
