    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a grating in which intervals between one ends and the other ends of main bars adjacent to each other can be differently and finely set in multiple stages, and copes with installation thereof at a different grating installation location flexibly and at a low cost.
      SOLUTION: According to the structure of the grating, the main bar M has fitting grooves 1 formed in side surfaces opposed to the other main bar M adjacent thereto, such that each fitting groove 1 is opened in each end face of the bar M and allows a connector J to be fitted thereinto so as to stride the mutually adjacent bars. Each fitting groove 1 has a plurality of first engaging portions 1a formed at least in one internal surface thereof in a manner aligning with each other with an equal pitch in a depth direction of the groove 1, and each connector J has a plurality of second engaging portions Ja formed at least on one external surface thereof in a manner aligning with each other with the same pitch as that of the first engaging portions 1a so as to be engageable with the first engaging portions 1a on a mortise and tenon joint basis. Thus the interval between the main bars M adjacent to each other is adjustable depending on an engaging location between the first engaging portions 1a of the fitting groove 1 and the second engaging portions Ja of the connector J.
