    • PURPOSE:To shorten the sending time, and to monitor the whole process of a reaction, by setting (m) as a positive integer, and transferring a reaction container provided with (m+1) pieces of photometric paths, by setting the reaction container transfer of 1/(m+1) and 1 pitch as 1 cycle. CONSTITUTION:On a reaction line 10, (m+1) pieces (for instance, 4 pieces of photometric paths A, B, C and D are provided, and in each photometric path A, B, C and D, a light projecting part 11 and a light receiving part 12 are placed opposingly. An absorbance information collecting part 17 sets a reaction container transfer of a 1/(m+1) rotation (for instance, 1/4 rotation) and 1 pitch as 1 cycle and collects absorbance information from each photometric path A, B, C and D when the reaction container is transferred in the direction as indicated with an arrow 14. Also, the collecting part 17 is provided with a light separating part for executing the separation of light of the absorbance information, and an optical switch for switching successively the absorbance information from the photometric paths A, B, C and D sending it out to the light separating part, and determines the position of the photometric path by considering the transfer speed of the reaction container and the switching speed of the optical switch, so that the center part of the reaction container being a photometric object is positioned on the optical axis of the photometric path switched by the optical switch.

    • PURPOSE: To project a handrail in a cage from a side plate of the cage only at the time of practically using the handrail for a physically handicapped person and to efficiently use a space in the cage at the normal time by projecting the handrail in the cage from the side plate by way of electrically interlocking it with a call button of a physically handicapped persons' dedicated platform button. CONSTITUTION: When a physically handicapped person at a platform presses a plaform button dedicated for the physically handicapped person, an electromagnetic valve works, an air cylinder 10 is moved to extend by compressed air from an air compressor and a handrail push rod 9 is made to move downward against dead weight of a balance weight. Thereafter, as an operating lever 8 integrated with a support arm 7 is pushed by this handrail push rod 9 and the support arm 7 is rotated, a handrail 2 integrated with the support arm 7 is rotated in a direction to project in the cage from a storage box 5 of a cage inside plate and it is fixed at the position. Thereafter, when the cage reaches an objective floor, the physically handicapped person gets off and a cage door is closed, the handrail 2 is also stored in the storage box 5 by returning motion of the air cylinder 10.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a reactor shutdown device which has a superior response to coolant temperature rise, increases safety margin for the increase of thermal extension and shuts down the reactor. CONSTITUTION:A movable armature 33 is provided at the upper end of an upper operational shaft 28 and around the movable armature 33, a fixed armature 34 is provided. On the lower surface of an extension rod above the movable and fixed armature 33, 34 an electromagnet 39 is provided. On the outer surface of the fixed armature 34, a dual cylinder temperature sensor 23 consisting of an inner cylinder 21 and an outer cylinder 22 is provided and liquid metal is contained inside. Between the upper operational axis 28 and a fixed armature 34, a small diameter bellows 35 is provided to support elastically. In normal operation, the electromagnet 39 and the movable armature 33 attracts a control rod 10 to support. In abnormal time, the gap between the electromagnet 39 and the movable armature 33 is made due to temperature rise to cancel magnetic flux and the control rod 10 falls.

    • PURPOSE:To exactly detect the control rod position without being affected by the falling velocity by emitting ultrasonic wave from the side of a control rod extension rod connected above the control rod and receiving the reflection wave. CONSTITUTION:A control rod 12 is moved up and down by a control rod drive mechanism 6 during normal operation to control the reactor power and during abnormality of the plant, it is removed from the mechanism 6 by a control rod removal mechanism 5 to insert in the core 8 and stop the reactor. At the moment control rod 2 is removed to be inserted in the core 8, ultrasonic pulse is emitted from an ultrasonic emission and reception element 12 to a control rod extension rod 11. As the ultrasonic pulse emitted from the extension rod 11 returns to the element 12 it is judged which of the grooves 15 cut on the extension rod 11 with variable widths for 1mm unit is passing the position of the element 12. By this, the fallen position of the control rod 2 is accurately detected, single unit maintenance becomes possible, the reliability is improved and the whole reactor plant safety is improved.

    • PURPOSE:To enable reduction of the quantity of a washing liquid used and shortening of a time for treatment by providing an agitating mechanism and a control means in addition to a washing mechanism. CONSTITUTION:A washing element 13 is provided with an agitating mechanism 11, together with a nozzle which discharges a washing liquid and sucks in a diluted reaction liquid. The agitating mechanism 11 is constructed of a bimorph vibrator S and an agitator L driven by vibration of this vibrator, and the amount of vibration can be controlled by controlling the voltage of an alternating power source impressed on the vibrator S and the frequency thereof. A system controller 18 is constructed of CPU 18a controlling operations of a whole apparatus, a memory 18b storing test item information inputted to an operating element and reagent information corresponding thereto and a program memory 18c storing programs for executing analysis. The number of times of washing and the number of times of agitation are set beforehand and the CPU 18a judges the concentration and the quantity of a residual reaction liquid, selects the optimum number of times of washing and agitation and controls each mechanism on the basis of the selected number of times thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the treating capacity of a chemical analysis without increasing the area of reaction lines, by providing a plurality of reaction lines which can rotate at independent cycle times from each other in the same plane. CONSTITUTION:A plurality of reaction vessels 2 are disposed and form a reaction line 15 in a constant temperature bath 1. The reaction line 15 is made up of a double circle of an inside reaction line 15A and an outside reaction line 15B disposed within the same plane and these lines are so constructed that they can be moved intermittently in the direction of arrows at independent cycle times of each other by first and second driving sources 21 and 22 respectively. CPU 16 controls the inside reaction line 15A and the outside reaction line 15B making up the reaction line 15 of an analyzing apparatus and the first and second driving sources 21 and 22 and makes them execute treatment for analysis at a prescribed cycle time. According to this constitution, a treating capacity can be improved without increasing the area of the reaction line.
