    • PURPOSE:To suppress fluctuation in impression magnetic field strength by providing two sliding surfaces constituted of curved surfaces on the recording opposite surfaces of the sliders and providing a magnetic field generation part in a head core between two sliding surfaces. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic head is provided with the head core and the winding wire of the head core in the slider main body 2, and the slider main body 2 is connected to a magnetic head driving device by a member having the elasticity of a flexure and a gimbals, etc. The sliding surfaces 21, 22 are provided on the recording opposite surfaces of the slider main body, and the magnetic field generation part 3 in the head core is provided between them. A part of a spherical surface is present on the sliding surfaces 21, 22 respectively, and they are in point-contact with the surface of a recording medium respectively. Then, since they are in point-contact with the surface even when the slider main body is inclined due to dust, etc., on the surface of the recording medium, sliding resistance is hardly changed.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the device, in which an azimuth angle control is properly conducted even though a positioning mechanism is a rocking type, by angularly rotating a floating head slider against a load beam, adjusting the skew angle of the magnetic head, setting and controlling the azimuth angle and conducting an azimuth recording on a magnetic disk medium.
      SOLUTION: A relatively large voltage is applied to a piggyback actuator, a floating head slider 20 is angularly rotated against the load beam, the skew angle of a magnetic head 20a is adjusted, the azimuth angle is set and controlled and a recording is conducted by alternatively varying the polarity of the azimuth angle among adjacent tracks. The slider 20 maintains a skew angle + β by the rotational control of the actuator and an information recording is conducted. Thus, the recorded pattern recorded on a track N has an azimuth angle + α, wherein α=β.
