SOLUTION: In a regular image forming operation, a main motor 500 drives a photoreceptor unit 8 and a heat fixing device 22, and a motor 501 for paper feeding and development drives a developing device 12. When toner is replenished or developer is replaced, a fixing clutch 502 is cut off to block off driving force transmission from the main motor 500 to the heat fixing device 22.
