    • PURPOSE: To miniaturize a communication equipment having multilevel matrix constitution, to reduce cost and to improve the maintenance and extensiveness of the equipment. CONSTITUTION: Plural small matrixes M11 -M1f constituting the matrix group of a first stage among the matrixes of three stages for line formation is vertically arranged. Plural small matrixes M21 -M2s constituting the matrix group of a second stage are vertically arranged across a connection surface CB. Plural small matrixes M31 -M3t constituting the matrix group of a third stage are vertically arranged on the same side as the small matrixes M11 -M1f of the connection surface CB.
