    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly measure the dusting amount of asbestos from the surface of a target being an asbestos-containing material.
      SOLUTION: This dusting amount measuring instrument of asbestos is equipped with a cover 2 for airtightly covering the periphery of a measuring target region, a suction pipe 3 for sucking air in the cover, a trap mechanism 4 having the membrane filter, which is mounted on the leading and part of the suction pipe to be arranged in the cover to collect asbestos dust in the sucked air, built therein, the suction pump 5 connected to the base end of the suction pipe, a flowmeter 6 for measuring the suction amount of air by the suction pump, the jet pipe 7 provided so as to pierce through the cover to blow the air outside the cover against the measuring target region from its leading end by the suction force of the suction pump and a trap mechanism 8 having the membrane filter, which is mounted on the base end part of the jet pipe, built therein.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a hazardous substance such as asbestos and dioxin from being scattered or released by executing volume reduction and humidification. SOLUTION: Asbestos waste 1 generated in work of removing asbestos is put in a bag 2, and the bag 2 is placed with its opening 2a downward. After inserting an injection tube 3 through the opening 2a, the opening 2a is made smaller by pressing a sleeve-like mouth 2b of the bag 2 so as to form a gap S for connecting the inside and outside of the bag 2 between the injection tube 3 and the sleeve-like mouth 2b. The air G in the bag 2 is replaced with steam W by blowing the steam W into the bag 2 through the injection tube 3 and then the opening 2a is sealed.
