    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a certain frequency band where a radiation field is peculiarly large and to restrain unnecessary electromagnetic waves from radiating. SOLUTION: A printed circuit board is provided with a signal layer 1 on its one side and a ground plane 2 on its other side, wherein a signal pattern 3 is formed on a part of the signal layer 1, and front ground regions 4 of ground potential are arranged on the rest of the signal layer 1. The surface ground regions 4 are connected to the ground plane 2 provided to the rear side of the board through them intermediary of viaholes 5a and 5b located near their corners along the signal pattern 3. The surface ground region is located near the signal pattern 3 to serve as a return current path of the signal pattern 3, so that electromagnetic radiation caused by the signal pattern 3 and its return current path is restrained. Furthermore, a distance between the viaholes 5a and 5b is set half or below as long as the wavelength of a printed board corresponding to frequencies required to restrain a radiation field, whereby a frequency band where a radiation field can be restrained can be expanded as wide as required.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To greatly suppress the leakage of an electromagnetic wave via a contact part between a housing and a connector by forming a groove in one of the housing and the connector without needing additional materials and work such as dual shielding or coating of conductive paint compared with a conventional connector. SOLUTION: A coaxial connector 1 is composed of a plug or a jack 3 for connection of the coaxial cable, a flange 4 for fixing the connector to a housing, a dielectric 5 projected from the flange 4 for supporting a center conductor 6 and helping with the fixing of the connector by being inserted into a hole 9 formed in a housing 2 and the center conductor 6. The coaxial connector 1 is fixed to the housing 2 by a screw 7 inserted into a hole bored in the flange 4. A groove 8 is provided in the flange 4 so as to surround the dielectric 5 and the center conductor 6 by its surface contacting with the housing 2. By this groove 8, contact resistance in the contact part between the flange 4 and the housing 2 is reduced and the leakage of an electromagnetic wave is restrained.
