摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a certain frequency band where a radiation field is peculiarly large and to restrain unnecessary electromagnetic waves from radiating. SOLUTION: A printed circuit board is provided with a signal layer 1 on its one side and a ground plane 2 on its other side, wherein a signal pattern 3 is formed on a part of the signal layer 1, and front ground regions 4 of ground potential are arranged on the rest of the signal layer 1. The surface ground regions 4 are connected to the ground plane 2 provided to the rear side of the board through them intermediary of viaholes 5a and 5b located near their corners along the signal pattern 3. The surface ground region is located near the signal pattern 3 to serve as a return current path of the signal pattern 3, so that electromagnetic radiation caused by the signal pattern 3 and its return current path is restrained. Furthermore, a distance between the viaholes 5a and 5b is set half or below as long as the wavelength of a printed board corresponding to frequencies required to restrain a radiation field, whereby a frequency band where a radiation field can be restrained can be expanded as wide as required.

SOLUTION: A coaxial connector 1 is composed of a plug or a jack 3 for connection of the coaxial cable, a flange 4 for fixing the connector to a housing, a dielectric 5 projected from the flange 4 for supporting a center conductor 6 and helping with the fixing of the connector by being inserted into a hole 9 formed in a housing 2 and the center conductor 6. The coaxial connector 1 is fixed to the housing 2 by a screw 7 inserted into a hole bored in the flange 4. A groove 8 is provided in the flange 4 so as to surround the dielectric 5 and the center conductor 6 by its surface contacting with the housing 2. By this groove 8, contact resistance in the contact part between the flange 4 and the housing 2 is reduced and the leakage of an electromagnetic wave is restrained.

摘要： PURPOSE:To calibrate a loop probe in a wide frequency band without requiring expensive devices by defining a magnetic field in a TEM mode generated by an unbalanced microstrip line as a reference magnetic field strength. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency signal generated by a high frequency signal generator 8 is fed to a microstrip line 3. The line 3 is in an unbalanced form, constructed by a strip conductor 4 and a grounding conductor 5. The conductor 4 has one end connected to a matching load 7 and the other connected to a current supply connector. A magnetic field generated is received by a loop probe 2 to be calibrated and the output voltage is measured by a high frequency voltage measuring instrument 9. An average field density Hav in a loop plane is found from the strength of a magnetic field generated in the line 3. The loop probe is calibrated by finding the ratio of the field strength Hav in the loop probe plane for field components perpendicular to the loop probe plane to the output voltage of the probe.
