    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a steel-aluminum joint structure having a high joint strength by suppressing the reduction of joint strength due to a brittle layer of Al-Fe binary alloy.
      SOLUTION: The joint structure is obtained by laminating aluminum or aluminum alloy on a hot-dip aluminized steel plate by spot welding. The hot-dip aluminized steel plate has a plated layer, which is formed on its surface and contains 3-12 mass% Si, 0.5-3 mass% Fe, and the balance substantial Al. The average concentration of Fe and Si of a nugget formed by the spot welding are not less than 0.1 mass% higher than the contents of Fe and Si of the aluminum or the aluminum alloy respectively. It is preferable that the thickness of the plated layer is 5 μm or more and an Al-Fe-Si ternary alloy layer with an average thickness of 0.2 μm or more exists in the joining interface.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding process by which a Zn-Al-Mg alloy-plated steel sheet can be fusion-welded without bringing about embrittlement cracking of molten metal in a heat-affected zone even when the fusion welding of the Zn-Al-Mg alloy-plated steel sheet is performed without removing a plated layer in advance or suppressing heat input.
      SOLUTION: The Zn-Al-Mg alloy-plated steel sheet is welded by feeding to a part to be welded chloride-based mixture of 0-100 mol.% ZnCl
      2 and 100-0 mol.% NH
      4 Cl, or fluoride-based mixture of 0-100 mol.% KAlF
      4 and 100-0 mol.% K
      3 AlF
      6 , and Mg component and Al component are removed from the plated layer alloy in a vicinity of the welded part, and thus the melting temperature of the plated layer alloy is raised, then, cracking attributed to embrittlement of molten metal at a heat-affected zone is suppressed.
