摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a depilator capable of pulling out efficiently a lot of hairs, reducing noises caused by the interference of claws with each other, lessening a drive load and protecting the claws from impacts of dropping or the like. CONSTITUTION:A depilator is provided with a drivable pivotal base 33 juxtaposing axially a plurality of depilating claws and an opening and closing means for cyclically sandwiching hairs introduced between the opposed claws. The claws are composed of a fixed claw 31B fixed axially and the other movable claw 32 movable axially. The depilator is constituted such that the movable claws 32 press simultaneously hairs on both sides of the fixed claw 31B to sandwich the hairs on both sides of the fixed claw 31B always when the claws are closed to grasp the hairs.

Moreover, since each pin 27 is shifted successively and placed in the periphery of a shaft 23 in accordance with arrangement of the claw 32, the hair 9 is drawn out successively be tween the different claws 31, 32 in the course of one rotation. That is, the hair is depilated successively by different timings, concentration of a load and concentration of a sound are not generated, and it does not occur that many hair are depilated simultaneously, therefore, stimulation is also small.

With this constitution, an electric current is fed to a motor 5 from the battery pack 4 via a lead 14, thereby rotating a fan 7.
