    • PURPOSE:To improve the luster properties of recorded picture surface and obtain recorded image with high image quality by a method wherein on a film shaped base, a first area on which a heat transfer ink is applied and a second area on which a thermal conductive layer with higher heat conductivity than the base are repeatedly arranged. CONSTITUTION:A base 1 is a PET film with a thickness of 4mum, and the top surface has smoothness with 10 point average roughness Ra of approximately 0.1mum. A base 2 is a heat resistant lubricant layer which is applied on the whole of the lower surface of the base 1 by a thickness of 2mum. Three color ink layers 3, 4, 5 and a thermal conductor layer 6 are applied in order by approximately the same size on the upper surface of the base 1. For the thermal conductor layer 6, corpuscles with favorable thermal conductivity such as metal power, carbon, etc. with an average particle diameter of not more than mum are applied on the upper surface of the base 1, and the surface of the thermal conductor layer 6 has smoothness of approximately Ra0.5mum. After transfer-recording three colors on a recording paper, the thermal conductor layer 6 of this ink sheet is placed over the recording paper, and they are re-heated by a thermal head. At the time of the re-heating, temperature distribution of the thermal head can be transmitted to the surface of the recording paper while being diffusion-unified by the thermal conductor layer of the ink sheet. By this method, the surface properties of recording papers are improved, and the luster properties of the recording image can be bettered.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a good image reduced in density irregularity or color shift at high speed and to miniaturize a recording apparatus in its height direction by grasping recording paper by a feed body to drive and revolve the same around a rigid oval carrier. CONSTITUTION:Since recording paper 1 is fed only by the driving force of a feed body 5 holding the leading end 1a thereof and receives no driving force from an elastomer 4a, the feed speed of the recording paper 1 becomes stable and the reproducibility of the feed distance thereof is enhanced. Since the recording paper 1 is guided by the surface 4b of the rigid part of a carrier 4, a feed route becomes stable. The density irregularity of a recording image caused by the variation of the feed speed or the lowering of the reproducibility of the feed distance or the overlap position shift of a three-color image is reduced and good image quality can be obtained. Since the recording paper 1 is operated so as to move around the carrier 4, the operation distance of the recording paper 1 during color recording can be made shortest. Since the recording paper 1 revolves only in one direction during recording, the cueing of the next color can be performed without separating a thermal head 3 from the carrier 4 and, therefore, the separation and contact operation of the thermal head 3 becomes unnecessary. The carrier is formed into an oval shape to miniaturize the apparatus in its height direction.

    • PURPOSE:To simplify the maintenance without interrupting transfer of a recording paper and to avoid jamming of succeeding recording papers when said recording paper jams during recording or the like accident occurs by providing a spring which is urged to apply elastic force to a shutter in a direction to close a recording paper transferring path and a shutter transferring means which shifts said shutter against the elastic force of said spring in a direction to open said recording paper transferring path. CONSTITUTION:A shutter 7 opens/closes a recording paper transferring path constituted of a first paper guide member 13 and a second paper guide member 14. A spring 8 applies elastic force to the shutter 7 in such a direction that the shutter closes the paper transferring path. A cam 9 driven by a second driving source 11 butts in contact both with an arm 12 moving a pinch roller 2 and with the shutter 7. Since the recording paper is pressed by the spring force alone, even if the recording paper is present in the middle of the transferring path, the shutter collides against the recording paper and stops. Therefore, transfer of the recording paper is not interrupted. Moreover, even when the recording paper is caught by the shutter due to burrs or the like thereof, the shutter is positively and forcibly moved back by the cam 9 in a direction to open the transferring path.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce a radiation energy for a unit area of a heating element and thereby to prolong the lifetime of the heating element by a method wherein a heating surface area of the heating element corresponding to one recording pixel is made to be large and thereby the radiation energy emitted from the heating element is concentrated to be given to a recording medium. CONSTITUTION:When the length of a heating part of a heating element 111 is set to be L and the length of the part of a radiation applied to an infrared absorbing element 105a of an ink sheet 105 to be l, the relation of L with l is set to be L>l. This value l represents the length of a recording pixel and it is substantially the same with a distance between lines in recording paper feed. The width of the heating part is designed to be equal substantially to the width of the recording pixel; accordingly, the ratio between the area of the heating part and the area of the recording pixel is L:l. Since condensation is conducted in the condition that the area of the heating part of the heating element 111 is made larger than that of the recording pixel in this way, the density of a radiation energy in a recording element is made higher than the density of a radiation energy emitted by the heating element. A heating temperature of the heating element 111 can be set to be low and thus it is possible to prolong the lifetime of the heating element 111 determined by a heat cycle thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a magneto-optical recorder in which light energy necessary to recording is reduced and recording information is prevented from being deteriorated due to secular change by projecting light generated from a light source on a recording medium, and performing write recording by destroying the superconducting state of a superconducting film. CONSTITUTION:A disk 104 is cooled at a temperature sufficiently lower than the critical temperature of the superconducting film 104a by driving a cooling device 108. By generating an upward magnetic field on a coil 105 by permitting a current to flow, an eddy current is generated on the surface of the superconductive film 104a so as to prevent a magnetic field from invading. By projecting a laser beam having a spot diameter with a size to include one or more micro holes 104b, the superconducting state is destroyed by the energy of the laser beam, then, resistance is generated, and the eddy current is damped and disappears. By stopping the projection of the laser beam, the film is returned to the superconducting state again, however, the magnetic field in the periphery of the micro hole is different from that before the superconducting state is destroyed, and since no magnetic field is generated at the micro hole on which no laser beam is projected, thereby, the history of the projection of the laser beam remains on the superconductive film as a record.
