    • PURPOSE:To easily match a frequency to a desired resonance frequency by providing plural metallic screws or metallic bars for short-circuiting a radiation conductor element and a ground conductor panel at intervals corresponding to a change in the resonance frequency of a microstrip antenna in a short-circuited peripheral end positioned in opposite to the opened peripheral end of the radiation conductor element. CONSTITUTION:A high frequency signal inputted to a coaxial line 4 of an input terminal passes through a central conductor 6 and excites a feeding point 5 and linearly polarized radio waves radiate, from an opened peripheral end 7 of a radiation conductor element 1. The position of the feeding point 5 to the radiation conductor element 1 is determined from the standpoint of impedance matching and cross polarization suppression. On the other hand, the resonance frequency of the one-end short-circuited type microstrip antenna can be arbitrarily set by plural metallic screws 9, which are provided at intervals (e) in a short-circuited peripheral end 8, without changing a side length (a) of the radiation conductor element 1 and the dielectric constant of a dielectric substrate 2. When the quantity of the metallic screws 9 is enlarged and the interval (e) is narrowed, the resonance frequency is moved to the high frequency and when the quantity of the metallic screws 9 is reduced and the interval (e) is widened, the resonance frequency is moved to the low frequency.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain an RF matching terminator able to absorb a microwave power by coating a thin film resistor for microwave to take matching to a face of a dielectric base. CONSTITUTION:A strip line 2 and a thin film resistor 5 for microwave are kept to the same potential by providing a connection line 2a to be in sufficient contact with a strip line 2 and a 1/4 wavelength line 2b to a dielectric base 1b in contact with the upper face of the strip line 2, the microwave power flowing through the strip line 2 flows to the microwave thin film resistor 5 and the frequency band used for the 1/4 wavelength line 2b is matched, then the reflection loss caused is -25dB or below when the microwave power is inputted to the microwave thin film resistor 5, and then the microwave power is sufficiently absorbed in the microwave thin film resistor 5. Moreover, the microwave thin film resistor 6 is coated to the dielectric base 1b in contact with the upper face of the strip line 2, but the film 6 may be coated to the side of the dielectric base 1a at the side of the strip line 2.
