    • PURPOSE:To perform the adaptive control of high accuracy by correcting the models of the load and advance factor by finding deformation resistance and friction coefficient errors. CONSTITUTION:The plate thickness just under the rolling roll is found from the relation of the constant mass flow by detecting the plate speed at the first step. At the second step advance factor fA is found from the plate speed and peripheral speed of the roll of rolling mill. The load PA of rolling mill is mea sured at the third step. At the 4th step the load P and advance factor (f) are operated by a mathematical model from the plate thickness of the first step and the respective primary influence coefficient differential developed with the deforma tion resistance and friction coefficient as the parameter at the vicinity to this operation result is found. The errors in the deformation resistance and friction coefficient are found from the measured values of the load PA and advance factor fA and the operated value at the forth step are found at the fifth step. The models of the load and advance factor is corrected by using the deforma tion resistance and friction coefficient errors obtd. from the first - fifth steps.

    • PURPOSE:To set up rolling conditions at high speed in the control of different peripheral-speeds rolling, by operating a roll opening and each roll peripheral speed at the time of different peripheral speeds from the sheet thickness of a stock to be rolled, the sheet thickness after rolling and the aimed rolling load in the different peripheral speeds rolling, and setting respective values to the operated values. CONSTITUTION:The setup of different peripheral-speeds rolling for rolling a stock to be rolled by passing the stock between a pair of rolling rolls and driving the rolls at different peripheral speeds is performed in the following manner. That is, a rolling load P is represented by a correction term DELTAP including a rolling torque G* and a different speed ratio, at the time of equal speeds rolling as parameters. Further, rolling torques TL, TN are represented by correction terms DELTAGL, DELTAGN including the rolling torque G* and the different speed ratio, at the time of equal speeds rolling, as parameters. And a different speed ratio capable of obtaining a maximum volumetric speed is operated under the conditions that the rolling load and torque are in allowable ranges. Next, a roll opening is further operated from a rooling force obtained by said operation to set the roll peripheral speed and the roll opening obtained by said operation.

    • PURPOSE:To avoid deterioration in the transmission efficiency and response delay by registering a function code before relay and a function code after relay in pairs for function codes set to each repeater and setting a function code to be relayed to only a required repeater. CONSTITUTION:A function code representing a content of a message is added to each message, and a function code before relay and a function code after relay corresponding to the function code before relay are registered to each of repeaters 1020, 1330 and 2133. When a message is inputted from a loop transmission line 1 connecting to, e.g. the repeater 1020, a function code after relay corresponding to a function code before relay is added to the inputted message when a function code coincident with the function code of the inputted message in the function code before relay registered in the repeater 1020, the function code after relay corresponding to the code is added to the inputted message and the result is sent to other loop transmission line 2. Thus, the message is sent through only a loop requiring the message and the delay in response is avoided.
