      SOLUTION: In the two-stroke engine provided with a crank chamber, a cylinder 2, scavenging ports 22a having an opening in the cylinder 2 and scavenging passages 22 for connecting the scavenging port and the crank chamber, a scavenging passage 22 is provided with a throttle part 22d which is formed by narrowing a passage section area in a middle of the passage and a scavenging port side of the throttle part 22d is in a tapered form 22e expanding from a narrowest part. Two sets of exhaust passages are provided for each cylinder 2 and a scavenging port (a first scavenging port) of a set which is at a side closer to the exhaust port is opened by the piston reciprocating in the cylinder before the scavenging port (a second scavenging port) of the set locating at a side farther from the exhaust port. The throttle part 22d is provided in the scavenging passage connected with the first scavenging port.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reciprocating tool in which constant vibration reduction effects can be obtained by intercepting vibration transmission from the cutting tool side regardless of characteristics of a material to be cut.
      SOLUTION: The reciprocating tool is provided with a motor stored in a body housing 15 and a reciprocation converting mechanism for converting the rotation of an armature 9 of the motor to the reciprocation of a plunger 5. Cutting is executed by the reciprocation of a blade (a cutting tool) 2 mounted to the plunger 5 in the reciprocating tool. An elastic material 21 is interposed between a gear holder (a part of the reciprocation converting mechanism) 11 and the body housing 15. The vibration accompanying with reaction force of a load acting on the blade 2 during the cutting is absorbed by the elastic material 21. Propagation of the vibration to the body housing 15 is intercepted. Consequently, the vibration of the body housing 15 is reduced. The constant vibration reduction effects can be obtained regardless of the characteristics of the material to be cut.
