    • PURPOSE:To prevent the generation of a flush and recover a drain fluid without changing the floor form of a building by mourning a contact type shaft seal member provided in a position closer to the outside from a second shaft seal member in a seal box. CONSTITUTION:In the inner part of a seal box 2, a third shaft seal member 7 of contact type is mounted along first and second shaft seal members 3, 4. It is mounted in the state situated on the outside of the second shaft seal 4 with a second space part between and seals the inside of the seal box 2 from the outside, whereby the seal box 2 is made into a space chamber having a pressure higher than the atmospheric pressure. Thus, even if the internal fluid in the pump is leaked to the seal box, the fluid is prevented from causing a flush, the generation of a water hammer is prevented, and the pressure of the fluid passing through the seal box is never reduced lower than the atmospheric pressure. Further, as the drain fluid can be guided to a desired upper position, the drain fluid can be recovered without changing the floor form of a building.

    • PURPOSE:To make most appropriate the plant operation control by providing, besides a first overheat prevention line which goes to a condenser independently from the outlet of each supply water pump, a second minimum flow rate recirculation line which returns to a suction main pipe from a discharge main pipe of a supply water pump and combining recirculation control valves for both of those lines. CONSTITUTION:A system to prevent overheating of a supply water pump 8 branches an overheat prevention piping 10 from the outlet side of each pump, and the piping 10 is connected to a condenser 3 via a first recirculation control valve 11 and anti-flash orifice 12. The heat inputted to the pump is removed by this first overheat prevention line and the control valve 11 makes a rapid opening action so that it does not damage the protection function of the pump. Further, a minimum flow rate recirculation piping 13 branches from the outlet main pipe of the supply water pump 8 and is connected to the suction piping of the supply water pump via a second recirculation control valve 14, and supplements the flow rate required for securing safe operation in the low flow rate range which lacks in the overheat prevention line. The variation in the water level of a steam generator 1 is kept to minimum by mismatching the opening and closing timings of the control valve 14 to those of the control valve 11 or arranging them continuously.

    • PURPOSE: To improve the profitability and the operability of a steam turbine power plant by disposing a valve which pocesses a flow-rate or a pressure adjusting function in a pipe passage which communicates a reheater and a condenser with each other.
      CONSTITUTION: A turbine bypass system consists of a turbine bypass piping 53, a low-pressure turbine bypass piping 63 and a low-pressure turbine bypass piping 75. The turbine bypass system contains pipings 54 and 64 which discharge part of steam from a primary low-temperature steam piping 42 and a secondary low-temperature reheated steam piping 44 to a condenser 30. In operation of the turbine bypass, adjusting valves 58 and 68 are controlled to feed the demanded quantity of steam to the reheaters 12 and 13 of a boiler 10. The profitability and the operability of the turbine power plant can thereby be improved.

CONSTITUTION:When a steam turbine 50, driving a feed water pump 35 in a transformation power plant, is shifted to fast cutback operation following the load interruption of a system, the driving steam of the turbine 50 is selected from low pressure steam 52 to main steam 53 and then to auxiliary steam 56. A pressure regulating valve 55 and a pressure regulator 62 both are installed in an auxiliary steam pipe 56 while a low selector 64 is installed in control air piping 63 connecting both 55 and 62. And, with a timer 66, a solenoid valve 67 is operated after the elapse of a certain period of time in an FCB signal, and the pressure regulating valve 55 is gradually opened with a ramp functioner 68, making it perform the pressure control.
