摘要： PURPOSE:To obtain a digital differential analyzing machine of an arithmetic system for floating point, which is applicable to a small-sized dynamic simulator at a high speed, by using an element corresponding to LSTTL so that an integral calculation within 1mu sec can be executed. CONSTITUTION:N sets of basic arithmetic units ALU 1a, 1b-6 of the same constitution, which are connected in accordance with a prescribed data flow are provided on an adding and subtracting circuit for floating point of a digital differential analyzing machine DDA. A partial calculation of a DDA operator of the M-th stage, another partial calculation of a DDA operator of the following (M+1)-th stage, and a partial operation of a DDA operator of the preceding M-1-th stage are executed in parallel by said ALUs 1a, 1b-6, an ALU of the pre-stage by one, and an ALU of the post-stage by one, respectively. With respect to said each ALU 1a, 1b-6, a controlling circuit by N pieces of control information transfer registers OT1-OT7, XT1-XT7, AT1-AT7 and Y1B- Y4B, and programmable logic arrays ALA4-7 is provided. In this state, the integral calculation within 1mu sec is executed by using an element corresponding to LSTTL.

Further, the exponent of the function Y1 is taken as the exponent of the DELTAZi as it is. Then, the upper-order m-digit of the Yi is zeroed and the normalizing is done so that the absolute value of the mantissa of the Yi is >=0.5, and the obtained result is used to obtain the DELTAZi in the next iteration.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain a high-speed arithmetic process for a parallel processor system, by having a control so that just a single processor is set under the transmission mode with other pricessors all set under the reception mode. CONSTITUTION:A control arithmetic controller 102 monopolizes a common bus 101 to transfer the data among processors after the arithmetic execution phase and at the same time sets the processors 103-106 under the reception mode by the monopolizing signal. Then a switch control signal is fed to the processor 103 via a signal line 107 for the switching to the transmission mode. Thus the processor 103 is set under the transmission mode. The processor 103 feeds the data of a number indicated previously to the processors and then switches its own working mode into the reception mode. Then the control signal is fed to the processor 104 via a signal line 108 in order to set the processor 103 under the transmission mode. In such way, the transfer of data is carried out among n-units of processors, and the processor 102 is switched to the arithmetic execution phase when the switch signal to the transmission mode arrives at the processor 102.
