    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a space connection type optical switching system, using a reflector which achieves reduction of optical loss, by optimally adjusting the optimum state of the reflector, and to provide a method for aligning the optical axis. SOLUTION: The optical switching system is provided with a first reflector 2a which can control an attitude for directing input light, a second reflector 2b which is disposed opposite to the first reflector and carries out an output by reflecting light reflected by the first reflector, and a means 5 to control each attitude of the first and second reflectors and to adjust the attitude of the controlled first and second reflectors. The optical switching system (a) generates a reference beam, the wavelength of which is substantially different from the input light, (b) reflects the generated reference beam by the first and second reflectors with the input light, (c) selectively branches the reference beam from reflected light to detect light intensity, and controls the attitude of the first and second reflectors, so that the intensity of the input light is maximized.

The optical switch switches optical transmission, by swinging the movable member. A preventive member, which forms a bridge between the fixation member and movable member on the reverse side, is provided on the fixation surface of the optical fiber.

The electrode through which a current flows is changed according to the contact state of the second movable yoke 105 with the fixed yokes 102a, 103a.
