CONSTITUTION: The switching of the combustion surfaces of surface A, surface B and surface C of a burner device is effected by a capacity switching valves 22a, 22b, 22c. A burner combustion stage detecting and memory unit 26 detects and stores the combustion surface of the burner upon previous combustion. A data memory 29 stores the data of breaking characteristic of hot-water temperature and the data of rise-up characteristic of hot-water temperature by operation formula and the like while corresponding them the operational parameter informations. A characteristic data deciding unit 28 defines the data of breaking characteristic of hot-water temperature based on the operational parameter information, the information on the combustion surface of the burner upon previous combustion and the like from the data of the data memory 29 and defines the rise-up characteristic data of hot-water temperature from the data of the data memory 29 based on the operational parameter information upon resupplying of hot-water. A gas amount correcting unit 30 obtains the amount of correcting gas for compensating a difference between the descending amount of hot-water temperature, obtained from the data of breaking characteristic of hot-water temperature, and the increasing amount of hot-water temperature, obtained from the data of rise-up characteristic of hot-water temperature.

SOLUTION: When a hot water supply or a hot water filling is started from a condition that delayed water temperature rise is occurring, a mixed got water temperature Tmix of mixed hot water produced by mixing hot-water side hot water which passes through first flow rate control means GM1 and water which passes through a water supply control bypass passage 18 is detected by a tapped water temperature sensor 8. When the mixed hot water temperature Tmix is higher than a set temperature Tsp set by a remote controller 9, the first flow rate control means GM1 is controlled in a closing direction and second flow rate control means is controlled in an opening direction, while when the mixed hot water temperature Tmix is lower than the set temperature Tsp, the first flow rate control means GM1 is controlled in an opening direction and second flow rate control means is controlled is a closing direction, whereby the ratio of flow rate between the hot water side flow rate and the flow rate of water which passes through the supply water control bypass passage 18 is controlled such that the mixed hot water temperature Tmix agrees with the set temperature Tsp.

SOLUTION: When temperature detected by a temperature sensor 33 for hot water to be supplied by heat exchange exceeds OFF temperature, combustion with a burner is stopped by a single reheating operation combustion control section 45, and the combustion with the burner is restarted when it falls below ON temperature. The circulation flow rate of hot water of a reheating circulation path is detected by a reheating circulation flow rate detecting means 48, based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 33 for hot water to be supplied by heat exchange as varying with the burner combustion, a flow rate detection data previously applied and the temperature detected by a bath temperature sensor 37. The presence of supplied hot water leaked during the single reheating operation is judged by a leaked hot water supplied detecting section 49. When any leak of the supplied hot water is detected, the flow rate detected by the reheating circulation flow rate detecting means 48 during the single reheating operation before the detection of the leaked hot water supplied is decided as circulation flow rate of hot water in the reheating circulation path, by a reheating circulation flow rate deciding means 46.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a flow rate in a reheating circulation passage without providing the reheating circulation passage with any flow rate sensor. SOLUTION: In a single boiler/two water feed pipe water heater which performs a heating by combustion with a burner common to a hot water supply heat exchanger and a rehating heat exchanger, temperature of hot water in the hot water supply heat exchanger is detected by a temperature sensor 31 for detecting the temperature of hot water to be supplied by heat exchange. During single operation of reheating, the combustion of a burner 5 is stopped when the temperature of the hot water to be supplied by heat exchange exceeds OFF temperature or the combustion is started when it falls below ON temperature. In this manner, the burner 5 performs an intermittent combustion. A circulation flow rate detecting section 34 detects the time t to the start of the subsequent combustion from the stopping of the combustion with the burner 5 by a time measuring means 33 and collates the detected time t1 and the temperature of a reheating circulation flow detected by a bath temperature sensor 21 with a data indicating a relationship with the time t1 the temperature of the circulation flow and the circulation flow rate applied in a data memory 35 to determine the circulation flow rate.

SOLUTION: A heat exchanger 30 is switched back at a part exposed from the side of casing thereof and a temperature sensor 44 is disposed at a part where the water tube arranged on the lowermost stage among water tubes 31a, 31b arranged on a plurality of stages is switched back. When a burner 20 is burnt without conducting water, temperature of hot water in the water tube 31a on the lower stage close to the burner 20 rises steeply depending on the amount of heating after firing. Consequently, the burner 20 can be extinguished based on the temperature detected by the temperature sensor 44.

Consequently, a transistor Tr 2 is nonconducting at all times and when an H level main valve drive signal S1 is delivered to a transistor Tr 1, the transistor Tr 1 is conducted even if water does not flow through a heat exchanger and the main valve 7 is opened.

The re-heating independent operation is detected by the information of the monitoring unit 43 and when the hot-water temperature of the heat exchanger is decided that it is higher than the temperature of off, the combustion of a burner is stopped to stop the heating of the heat exchanger while the amount of heat of staying hot-water in the heat exchanger is reduced by the air supplying ventilation of a combustion fan. According to this method, the condition of staying hot-water, approached to boiling, is avoided whereby high-temperature hot-water discharging due to re-heating independent operation can be avoided.

When a difference of the hot water side flow to the total flow of the hot water side flow and mixing water amount becomes a set flow or less during the mixing operation, the means GM2 is stopped. It is prevented the means GM2 from remaining open, and transferred to a normal hot water supply operation state for performing maximum ability of the apparatus after the means GM2 is stopped.
